Primrose Hill is a beautiful public park rising 256 feet over the northern side of Regent's Park, which also gives the picturesque village its name.

The hill offers the most spectacular views across the City and Central London to the South-East, and Belsize Park and Hampstead to the North.

Situated between Regents Park, Swiss Cottage, Camden and Chalk Farm, this tranquil village which retains much of its original character, is one of the most desirable and prosperous areas in London - renowned for the community spirit and charm amongst its residents.

With its rich history and fantastic location in the core of London, this gorgeous, affluent village has long been home to reputable professionals and numerous prominent residents; including poets, musicians, actors and artists.
The area was home to many famous individuals, demonstrated by the large number of blue plaques coating homes in the village, including those of Sylvia Plath, W.B. Yeats, William Roberts, Friedrich Engels and Roger Fenton.

The wide tree-lined streets of Primrose Hill Village offer some of the most striking houses and apartments; from wide elegant Victorian terraces, magnificent detached houses and large converted flats.

Being only approximately 0.5 miles in radius, there is a limited supply of homes in Primrose Hill at any one time, commanding properties to high prices.

The postcodes covering Primrose Hill are NW1 to the east and NW3 to the north of the park.

Council Tax in Primrose Hill is levied by Camden local authority.
